MP 297 Emergency Works & Offsetting

With the Skeena River eroding close to a key pipeline, a riprap revetment was constructed to protect the infrastructure and maintain supply. As part of the required habitat offset program, Atna designed and oversaw the creation of an off-channel coho salmon rearing and overwintering habitat, helping to balance project needs with environmental stewardship.
